Located in the village of Peak Forest in the High Peak, near the spa town of Buxton Derbyshire, Snelslow Barn is ideally situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

The property is a tastefully converted barn - traditional on the outside but stylish and modern on the inside; quirky yet quaint, with plenty of home comforts! It’s perfect for a couple looking for something a little different.

Peak Forest is a great location for walkers, being close to many footpaths that meander through the surrounding hills, including the well-known peaks of Kinder Scout, Mam Tor and the Great Ridge, 'picture perfect’ Dovedale and Edale, and the popular Limestone Way, which can be reached through the fields adjacent to Snelslow Barn. Cyclists are also well catered for in the area e.g. Monsall Trail and Parsley Hay. And there are many other outdoor pursuits in the near locality, including caving, pot-holing, abseiling and para-gliding, to name a few.

There are plenty of other things to do in the local area including historic houses to visit, such as Lyme Park, House and Gardens (National Trust), Chatsworth House and Gardens, and Haddon Hall. And there Ís an array of quaint towns and villages including Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Matlock Bath and Tideswell.
